Spiced Cabernet Cocktail

1 bottle Balance Winemaker’s Selection Cabernet Sauvignon

6 whole cloves

1 orange (quartered)

3 cinnamon sticks

6 Tbsp sugar

½ cup fresh orange juice

½ cup brandy

Press cloves into the peel of quartered orange.

Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan.

Bring to a simmer over medium heat (do not boil).

Reduce heat to low, and cook 30 minutes.

Remove orange and cinnamon.

Serve in a short glass and garnish with an orange peel.
