750ml Balance Winemaker’s Selection Shiraz
1 orange (sliced into rounds)
8 whole cloves
2 cinnamon sticks
2 star anise
4 Tbsp honey
100ml Oude Molen brandy
Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan and simmer on medium-high heat for 10 minutes (do not boil, this will remove the alcohol). Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and let the mixture simmer for at least 20 minutes. Strain, and serve warm. Garnish with cinnamon sticks, cloves and oranges.
